CreativeCH runs a series of 10 expert workshops on themes in creative collaboration in cultural heritage. This section of the toolkit presents the summarised results of the workshops and includes some selected material and links.

Creative Clusters / Clustering
Workshop at MFG Baden-Württemberg (Stuttgart, Germany) on the 18th of April 2012: The experts explored the usefulness of the cluster concept for creative cooperation of cultural heritage, science & technology, and cultural and creative organisations and businesses. More

Cultural Heritage and ICT in the Experience Economy
Workshop at the INVTUR 2012 Conference (Aveiro, Portugal) on the 17th of May 2012: The workshop focused on the combination of heritage content, creative approaches and novel technologies to enable engaging and memorable cultural experiences. More

Citizen Cultural Participation
Workshop at the VAST 2012 Symposium (Brighton, UK) on the 12th of November 2012: The experts explored participatory approaches and various related questions, e.g. what citizens perceive as heritage, how they related to it, and what benefits they can gain from collaborative projects. More

Cultural Tourism
Workshop at Museu de la Ciència i de la Tècnica de Catalunya (Terrassa, Catalonia) on the 10th of May 2013, in the context of the Fira Modernista. The workshop focused on the question of how to develop attractive and sustainable cultural tourism offerings. More

Internationalisation and Localization of Heritage Content
Workshop at PIN VASTLab (Prato, Italy) on the 16th of May 2013, within the EVA Florence 2013 Conference programme. The experts addressed challenges in communicating local/regional cultural heritage in European countries and internationally, sensitive for the distinct regional cultural characteristics. More

Industrial Heritage
Workshop in the framework of the Pilsen Week of Cultural Factories (Pilsen, Czech Republic), held at the former Světovar brewery on the 17th of September 2013. The experts explored feasible approaches for promoting the preservation and use of industrial heritage. More

New Skills and Professionalization for the Digital Arena
Workshop at the Digital Strategies in Heritage (DISH) 2013 Conference (Rotterdam, Netherlands) on the 2nd of December 2013. The workshop focused on the required skills for creating novel digital cultural products and services. More

Open Access, IPR and management of rights
Workshop within the Museum and the Web Florence 2014 pre-conference programme “Horizon2020 and Creative Europe vs Digital Heritage – A European Projects Crossover”, Florence, 18th of February 2014. The experts discussed legal issues in the (re-)use of cultural and intellectual content produced by heritage and academic institutions. More

Cultural heritage and creative city/regional development
The workshop was organised in a collaboration with the Institute for Social and European Studies (ISES), Hungary. It was held on the 16th of September 2014 in Budapest at the Petofi Irodalmi Múzeum.
